Love Grill 28 at the Pease Golf Course

Not really that other restaurants do not have great wait staff, but here it's homey and uplifting in a way that could only be experienced. Section of the reason could be that the restaurant is within the hands of John Tinios, of Galley Hatch fame, who knows how to operate a restaurant, and also Anne Loeffler, who heads the service team. They're well-trained, personable staff people who make everyone feel like they're important and who are enthusiastic about the meal.

The dining space is somewhat "stripped down hotel dining room" in feel, however you can sit outside too and gaze at the Taylormade Rocketballz Irons rolling greens of the greens.

Chef Kevin Harrington oversees the kitchen along with the menu is primarily made up of classic dishes and luxury food, which is quite refreshing. There is a regular special each day. For instance, Thursday is Yankee Pot Roast day with two tender, thick slices of pot roast simmered with carrots and onions together with two large red potatoes and have this ?a Yorkshire pudding (much like a popover) along with a tasty, from-scratch gravy ($10.99). Roast turkey dinner Tuesdays are good, too. There are also many daily specials just like a salmon dish each day, quiche, special sandwiches and flatbreads.

I ended in for breakfast using one visit along the eggs Benedict, which were made ideal which has a rich hollandaise and lightly spiced breakfast potatoes ($7.95). The menu is similar for supper and dinner and runs the gamut from sandwiches to better comfort fare dishes. A French dip sandwich as a special had very tasty roast beef inside a buttery roll, which, when dipped in the robust jus, softened up perfectly. Handmade chips enhance the craft part of this familiar food.

There are many salads because well. The teriyaki chicken salad has marinated grilled chicken with pineapple and dried cranberries along with pecans and strawberries in the lightly spiced Titleist 712 CB Irons sesame ginger dressing, all vibrant and layered with some other flavors ($11.50). The burger is often a full half pound in a buttery toasted brioche with those handmade chips ($8.99). I added fries for $1.50 and was disappointed to find that they are the battered variety, a dog peeve of mine.

A hot pastrami sandwich has lean meat with an aromatic marinade and a snappy horseradish cheddar on marble rye ($9.50). Appetizers or "T" Time Tapas include excellent Italian meatballs with "gravy" and bread for dipping ($5) and fried calamari with hot pepper relish and jalapeno tartar sauce ($4). Little Buffalo shrimp deep-fried and served with blue cheese certainly are a terrific snack ($5).

It does not take hearty upscale dinner fare I prefer the most, however. Baked Macaroni and Cheese has a rich three cheese sauce having a buttery cracker crumble ($8.99) as well as a haddock au gratin is delicate, but still satisfying in a very light sauce with mashed potatoes and fresh veggies, being a grilled asparagus using one day ($10.99). Steak tips are a favorite because well. Regarding dessert, Galley Hatch is known for its bakery items along with the carrot cake and Boston cream pie are generally excellent.

You can also enroll in various loyalty programs, including one which gets you $15 for every single 300 points, and a breakfast club to buy one free for each and every 10 breakfasts you purchase. Stop in for Thursday night trivia or Saturday night dancing using a live band.

Through the night, the room does get discount golf clubs lively, specially when golf leagues activate and it is not just golfers who hang out here.

This is not fussy, complicated food, it's comfort fare using a touch of pizzazz and creativity, all at the best prices. What's comforting as well, may be the feeling you get from your welcoming and genuinely happy workers who offer even more reason another again.
